That link will take you to one of Rachmaninoff's more popular works. Originally intended to ba a 'chanson sans paroles' (hence the name), it was quickly arranged for violin because Rachmaninoff can't help but write challenging work for whatever medium he's using. The structure is pretty simple, as is the development of the theme, but there is no mistaking the quality of the work.
