Infinite Jest Character Chart

The problem with David Foster Wallace's Infinite Jest is that it's so cerebrally dense that talking about it, no matter how earnestly, seems to make the speaker come of like some sort of de facto pseudo-intellectual psycho-babbler.

Everything else about the book, however, is perfect.

This is a chart depicting relationships in the story's nonlinear narrative. I think that it's beautiful because, while its accurate, it somehow doesn't make the story any clearer.
