I have a soft spot for modeling, and I find this particular photograph stunning. I am particularly fond of the curvature of the model's body and how it compliments the bends of the tree branches in the background. She seems to bend herself to almost an uncomfortable degree, yet her body appears to belong naturally with the forest as if she is a twisted tree trunk. This piece also reminds me of the Aristotelian notion of how art seeks to idealize nature. This shot is surely celebrating the earth and uses the human body to try to mimic its beauty.
